Hand built from stoneware clay, each little box is decorated with slips and oxides and then highlighted with gold lustre before a final third firing. Containing a high quality musical mechanism, the little bird will rotate by carefully winding it clockwise. PLEASE NOTE - winding must be done from the base of the bird to avoid damage to the piece.
